Ez Rx Disposal

For those just starting out, we recommend buying two containers. When the first container is full, you will have a second one ready. We can also set you up on a subscription service and automatically send you a new kit whenever we receive one for disposal.

Public Health Departments, Boards of Pharmacy, Dental Offices, Law Enforcement, Independent and Chain Pharmacies, University Police, Veterinarians, Ambulance and Emergency Services, Prescription Recall Services, Long Term Care Facilities, Tribal Indian Organizations, VAMC, Narcotic Treatment Centers, Private Gift Shops, Medical Practices, Investigational Drug Services and many more of the like.

We offer Mini Mailers, 2 Gallon Containers, 5 Gallon Containers, 10 Gallon Containers, and 15 Gallon Containers.

Ez Rx Disposal  will send a Mailback shipping package, which will have the following:

• Postage pre-paid, self-addressed, and USPS approved returnable container. 

Note: our mailing containers meet all regulatory requirements and are nondescript by design so as not to draw attention to the container or contents.

• Two extra thick poly liners – one designated for controlled substances, a second for non-controlled drug products. Both can be shipped in the same container.

• Return Manifest

• Tamper evident seal system

• Complete set of instructions to access the Customer Portal

We provide tracking of and DEA compliant reporting of transfer and destruction, a Certificate of Destruction, and secure transportation.

All orders will ship ground via common carrier. Overnight shipping is available at an additional cost.

A contract is never required. Use as needed.

All expired, unused, or unwanted medications such as:

Controlled Substances (Schedule II-V), over-the-counter medications, prescription medications / patches / ointments, vitamins, pet medications and liquids (tightly capped).

Trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, vapes / vape products, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit/illegal drugs, or commercial waste. 

Other examples of items that are NOT acceptable for the Mailback Program because they are considered hazardous waste:

Nicotine of ANY kind, Chemotherapy items of ANY kind, Coumadin / Warfarin, inhalers, aerosols, adrenalin (Epi Pens, etc.), insulin of ANY kind, items containing mercury or silver, Epinephrine, universal waste.

Ez Rx Disposal reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to refuse or reject any containers deemed to contain Unacceptable Pharmaceutical Waste. All Pharmaceutical Waste must be accompanied by a properly completed shipping document provided by Ez Rx Disposal. Please note that the Ez Rx Disposal program does not accept Schedule I Controlled Substances, other illicit or dangerous substances, non-consumer hazardous waste, or Regulated Medical Waste (including sharps). Non-consumer hazardous waste and Regulated Medical Waste (including sharps) should never be included in pharmaceutical waste packages sent to Ez Rx Disposal for destruction. Any mischaracterization of waste will result in disposal expenses being charged to the customer. This product is only allowed with the United States.
